1. Farmhouse at Tangellapalle
Location: Tangellapalle, Kondurg Mandal, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana
Project duration: 2021 (ongoing)
Project Summary: This is part of the first phase development of the farmhouse with the site spread over an area of 5 acres. The proposed structure would consist of self contained suites on the ground and first floor with views within the site and long views beyond onto the country side.
Load bearing walls of stabilised mud blocks will lend a distinct earthy character to the house.

A combination of laterite stone and brick masonry is used for the load bearing walls. Concrete filler slabs with terracotta tiles is one of the techniques used for roofing. The other techniques used for roofing are flat brick roof and stone tiles roofing over palm timber framework.
